Task Force on Broadband Releases Plan Outline

The Governor’s Task Force on Broadband recently released the Minnesota Broadband Plan Outline, a 14-page report of “recommendations that the Task Force believes will help to ensure that Minnesota meets its broadband goals and becomes a national leader in developing the economic and social benefits of ubiquitous broadband.” Governor Mark Dayton issued Executive Order 11-27 in August 2011, creating the Governor’s Task Force on Broadband and directing the Task Force to develop a Minnesota Broadband Plan Outline by January 31, 2012.
